Professional Formation - Applying for QTLS/ATLS
A morning training/support seminar

Following the introduction of the 2007 Workforce Reforms, Professional Formation provides the opportunity for practitioners from across the learning & skills sector to have their professional status as a teacher recognised by applying for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or Associate Teacher Learning and Skills (ATLS) status.

The South West Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (SWCETT) is offering this half-day session to support practitioners by providing:
• accurate and succinct information about the process of Professional Formation
• the opportunity to understand how to apply for A/QTLS
• support to help practitioners get started and progress on their journey towards A/QTLS

This may also include officers from the Local Authority and LSC/Skills Funding Agency.
